My donor was a student at Baylor College of Medicine. He graduated from MIT and from Baylor College of Medicine. He was/is a psychiatrist in the army and at one time was overseas somewhere in Europe. He also at one time was in the San Francisco area.
I was born on February 2, 1983. The physician was Dr. William Schindler. I am 5 ft 8 inches tall, I was born with light brown, thick, wavy hair and I have green eyes.
We were told my donor had a Muscular build, blonde hair and blue eyes .
My mother was also told that he may have been a medical student (who interned at the hospital not far
away) at the time of his donation but we are not certain of this. My blood type is O-, as is my mother's.
Part of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Alberts and others ran a pilot program in donor insemination from approx. 1960 to the late 1970's. This hospital merged and is now Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, but the merger was long after the death of Dr. Alberts. Also called Boston IVF.
