In the early 40's, Dr. Edward T. Tyler founded the Tyler Clinic in Westwood, CA, where it remained until around 2003 (it closed due to fire.and relocated to:
The Tyler Medical Clinic
9301 Wilshire Blvd. - Suite # 208
Beverly Hills, California 90210. The Westwood Cryobank is the name of its sperm and egg bank.
I donated eggs in March 88 and believe it resulted in the birth of a baby boy profiled on TV news that December, I would not mind contact thru this registry if he chooses too
I was born in March 1973. I'm 6'3" -- brown hair and eyes, athletic build, Jewish. Just found out in the last couple of months that my parents conceived me via insemination (Tyler Clinic -- purportedly a UCLA med student) and now trying to hook up with half siblings, donor, get medical information, etc. I found out accidentally after registering on 23andme.com and have already connected with a half brother (he was born in 1982).
Sperm stored at Reproductive Fertility, Dr. Peyman Saadat, previously Tyler Medical, unaccounted for and likely used to create embryos. This sperm carries Marfan Syndrome, a genetically dominant gene with a 50% chance of inheritance. It killed my husband, he was not a donor. If you or anybody you know was conceived at this facility and there is any question as to the father, please get yourself checked.

Possibly a UCLA medical student, intern or doctor. He supposedly resembled my dad, who is caucasian, tall, with dark hair and blue eyes, and of northern european ancestry (irish/scotch/english/german/french).
Looking for my biological father. My mother was inseminated at the
Tyler Medical Center Los Angeles, CA in 1967. I was born 12/19/67. My
mother was told the donor was a doctor of Irish decent.
I was inseminated in May 1973. At age 3 my daughter developed a rare seizure disorder I was told was an auto-immune disease called Rasmussen's Encephalitis. Auto-immune diseases tend to run in families. My daughter is blood type O+ like me, was born with blonde curly hair that has since turned ash brown, and has medium brown eyes. I was told the donor was a medical student at UCLA and had similar features as my husband, brown hair & eyes.
Donor between 1-1973 to 2-1974. Probably has curly or wavy hair . Tall. Fair/light complexion...Possibly light color eyes (mine are light brown). My Mom was told UCLA Student. Dr Marik was my Mom's Doctor. I welcome all and any contact from the donor and possible half siblings. I am on both Facebook and Myspace. I would love to meet you!!! My blood type is A-.
My blood type is A+ and I have a dimple on my right cheek. I've never met any other donor offspring. In addition to finding half siblings and/or the donor, I would like to meet other donor offspring. Please contact me.
The donor was a medical student, has jewish heritage and is a carrier of Tay-Sachs disease. Looking for a pict of my Bio dad and some medical background. it would also be awesome if i found some siblings.
Dimples, as I have very deep dimples on each cheek. Possibly a medical student, not sure. I was born in July of 79, my mother was using the Tyler clinic from Summer of '77 to late '78
My son was born in Los Angeles in March of 1985 and has Aspergers syndrome. I would be interested in finding out any information about any donors who donated to the Tyler Clinic between January 1983-and June 1984.
There are nine known half-siblings so far and we know who our biological father is. He donated to Tyler Clinic for approximately two years 1980-1982, as well as a few other clinics in the area. (see my other postings)
We have our DNA registered with all the major players (23andme,Ancestry,FamilytreeDNA)
Happy to speak with anyone on here about DNA testing
Tyler Medical Clinic provided false information about the donor they used for me. They told my Mom he was English/Scottish, a professor of history, and under 30. Oh well, it all turned out ok.
What I was told about the donor many years ago by the Tyler Clinic has proven to be mostly false. Through much research the donor has been identified but is currently not open to communication. He donated over a 30 year time span as both a student and then an employee of UCLA. So far 12 half siblings have been identified via DNA testing with 23 and Me, FTDNA, Ancestry and the Donor Sibling Registry site.
His father is a broker and mother a real estate agent, they have their own company somewhere near UCLA. There are grandparents and great grandparents alive. His father is 100% German and his mom is mixed, see above. I am not sure if his hair is wavy or straight but I do know he has no freckles!
