My mother requested a donor who was tall, with dark eyes, dark hair and Jewish. She believes that he was a Psychology student at the time of donation. Of course, none of this is certain.
Donor would have donated in January 1983. Based on comparison to my mothers ethnic background, it seems like my donors ethnic background would probably be mixed and perhaps Hispanic.
Donor was likely a medical student affiliated with NYU in the 1970's-80's since to date my sibling set was born between 1976 and 1989, and sperm freezing only began in the mid 1980's as an option. There may be other siblings as well. Background was likely European and possibly British/Irish.

I was born in 1988 in Manhattan NYC via Dr. Charles Debrovner's clinic in Manhattan NYC. I was likely conceived around Feb/March 1987. I have fair hair (red/blond), fair skin and dark blue eyes and am a 5"6' male.
The donor may have been pale skin and fair haired. He may have had some Jewish ancestry with Eastern European ancestry from Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. He may have been a medical student and was potentially a runner in the Boston or have ties to both NYC and Boston. Would any of this sound familiar? Or it could be another donor - my mother could have had multiple donors in the same month --------- 6'1, blue eyes, blood type B+ and initials could be 'A.T.'
Donor speaks French and Wolof (from Senegal, Africa) Donor had two brothers, one of whom appears to be very close in age (or a twin) and of similar height and coloring. Father of the donor was a manager at a major computer firm. One of the donor's brothers was a computer programmer and the other brother was a phone manager. Both of donor's brothers have one son and one daughter.
Went to Repro Lab next door to Dr Debrovners office.
