CLI (formerly known as Genetic Lab) started shipping frozen sperm all over the country in the early 70's, so don't limit your search to the state you were conceived in unless you know that fresh sperm was used).
I was insemenated by a donor in
March of 1978.The Dr. name was Dr Mark Gross. There is no donor # as fresh sperm was used. I was told the sperm donor was 23 yrs old, of Irish-German ancestry, was married with a child and another on the
way. He had Blue eyes, dk brown hair, and was very tall. He worked in
construction. My son was born on December 16,1978. He had beautiful
dk blue eyes, brown hair, dimples. and was 6'4" in height. He was
very mechanical minded. He took his crib apart when he was 2 and
could install plumbing fixtures by the time he was 12,( even though
he couldn't read the instructions!!. He was a cable installer at the
time of his death making $25 an hour. Pretty good for a 21 yr old. He
suffered from severe depression and learning disabilities. He was a
wonderful son despite his problems. He left me a BEAUTIFUL
GRANDDAUGHTER. I hope that I am able to someday meet his half
siblings and that they will be able to see his beautiful child and
learn what a wonderful son he was. Thanks so much for listening.
