Adoptive parents both had masters degrees, mother was a teacher, father was a historian who authored a book. Donor was born catholic, was a practicing Mormon at time of donation. Offspring conceived with this donor was born with genetically confirmed KBG syndrome which is a mutation on ANKRD11. Mom does not carry the mutation. Update: 8/ 2019 Donor was tested for the exact mutation my child has and was found negative however they can not rule out gonadal mosaicism.
