LIJ is Long Island Jewish. Donors from North Shore University Hospital but procedure was performed by Dr. Esther Weisfogel in her Roslyn office on Northern Blvd, New York, and maybe other doctors.
I believe the donor may have been a medical student or doctor. Most likely a "fresh" donation. Procedure was possibly performed by Dr. Richard Bronson.
I have been told that the donor was a doctor, resident, nurse, or intern at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY in early 1981. My sister, born Feb 1977 may also be from the same donor.
I believe the procedure was done in a medical office at 1575 Hillside Ave. in New Hyde Park, NY, but I dont know the doctors name. The donor is assumed to be a doctor or resident at North Shore or Long Island Jewish (LIJ) hospital.
Have been able to connect with a half-sibling through Ancestry DNA. I was born in December of 1977, and my half-sibling was born July of 1977.
