We conceived our daughter 23 years ago, and when she turned 16, we found out that she had up to 8 half-siblings. I related this info to another couple we met during the long conception/surrogacy process. They told us about DonorSiblingRegistry, and so seven years ago, I set up a donor profile to find matches. After six years of waiting, a young women responded as a sibling-match. She had seen DonorSiblingRegistry mentioned on an episode of CSI: Miami on television, and has a twin brother from the same egg donor as she and our daughter. The girls finally met up a few weeks ago. By coincidence, both girls have attended Purdue University with an interest in aviation/aerospace, though at different times.
