We were able to meet one other same-sex couple so far who has a little girl (6 months younger) than our daughter. They live so close to us which is great. It's been wonderful!! They have known each other for about 2 years now and love each other very much. Amira is five now and her younger sister will be five in December. "A" said this to Amira "you're my big sister and I'm your little sister!" to which our daughter replied, "Oh A...I love that SO much (!)" and ran off with her to play some more.

We look forward to being in each other lives forever and meeting many of the other sister Moms, parents and children whom we are in contact with who live back east!
